“I didn’t eat all the cakes” Naomi Cryer at the visit to Duseline Stewart’s garden May 2016

The club was formed in 2003 with the aim of increasing members’ enjoyment of gardening by bringing together new and experienced gardeners to learn more about plants, gardens and our fabulous locality. You can read more about the club by reading our Information sheet and our Constitution Jan 2017.

The club has a year round programme of monthly events  including, illustrated talks and demonstrations, visits to local gardens, visits to members gardens and social events. Talks and demonstrations at our autumn and winter meetings usually take place at 7.30 pm on the second Thursday of the month and are held in the Much Marcle Memorial Hall.  Members pay an annual membership fee, currently £8.50 and then an entry fee for each event.  Non-members are welcome to attend most events and pay a slightly higher entry fee.

Free teas, coffees, cake and sometimes something stronger!
