Saturday 7th January 2012 – Wassail

Starting at Westons Cider at 6.30pm.  Dancing will be at 7pm followed by an atmospheric torchlight procession into the ancient cider orchards. After the Ceremony of singing, carousing and general merriment there will be music and Mummers at The Slip Tavern.

Sunday 29th January 2012, 3 pm – 1000 miles and only one puncture

Much Marcle Memorial Hall.  An illustrated talk by Chris and Julia Oulton describing their six week cycle ride from the North to the South of France.
Tickets £5.00 to include tea and homemade cakes and a chance to win a bottle of wine. Children £2.50. Ticket are available from Chris and Julia (01531660317) or Much Marcle shop.  In aid of All Saints Church Yatton

Saturday 25th February. 7.30pm, Hellens Manor. Rosamunde Trio

The Rosamunde Trio will be performing the music of Mozart, Brahms and Dvorak.

Friday 9th March – “An Insider’s Talk on Westminster Abbey” – Memorial Hall

A talk by Rosemary Kennedy who is a Green Gown (voluntary helper) at the Abbey.  Her talk will be illustrated with slides and memorabilia, including items from the Royal Wedding.

6.30pm for 7pm.  Tickets £5 to include tea/coffee and cakes.  Tickets from the shop or by telephoning 01531 660664.
