Orchard Yurt, PutleyOrchard Yurt nestles beside old apples trees in our garden in the rural village of Putley, Herefordshire. It is 16? in diameter and sleeps four. Having an extra thick double futon and two fold out seats you are ensured a good nights rest and in the morning you can enjoy a complimenatry DIY full english breakfast which awaits you in the outside kitchen. There are blankets and soft sheepskins to keep you warm and you can light the wood burner to be extra cosy and toasty on those chilly english evenings. Tea and coffee can be made on the little gas cooker and a campfire to cook your breakfast or sit around after a hard day exploring all that Herefordshire has to offer.

The facilities provide a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and emersion heater for hot water. The outside kitchen has a double gas cooker with grill, portable fire pit/BBQ for evenings when you cant’s use the campfire, table and chairs. A hot shower and loo, sink with emersion heater and shaving point. Plenty of hooks to hang your towels on.

Orchard Yurt is totally private for the duration of your stay so there is no sharing of any of the facilities. We can provide a 16? Bell Tent if you decide to bring friends who either do not have a tent of there own or do not want the bother of putting one up on arrival. I can provide camp beds for a small charge.

Challenging walking, cycling and canoeing down the River Wye. Orchards to wander and discover. Romantic castles, gardens and mazes. Art, music, poetry, food festivals for all ages. Cider, perry, and apple tasting. Pottery, bodging, basket weaving,curry and bread courses. The beautiful Malvern Hills and Roman Hill Forts. We can even arrange a Moth morning for you.

The local market town of Ledbury can boast numerous shops selling local produce. Three butchers, three grocery stores, two delhi’s, one french, one italian and a lovely cafe Cameron and Swan which uses locally soured produce. Truly, a Mecca for foodies. A beautiful 2hr hike form Orchard Yurt will take you up and over the Marcle Ridge to The Crown or the Butchers where you can rest and enjoy locally brewed beers, ciders and enjoy more herefordshire fare.

All you need to bring is sleeping bags/bed linen, towels, a good torch, welly boots and if you want to share, good friends.
